Aftercare & Warranty Information
Everything you need to know after your Ceramic Coating, Paint Protection Film, or Window Tint installation. Follow these guidelines to protect your investment and keep your warranty in good standing.
Ceramic Coating Aftercare
Your ceramic coating is engineered to bond at a molecular level with your paint. Proper care during the curing window ensures maximum gloss, hydrophobic performance, and warranty protection.

First 24 Hours
- Keep the vehicle dry and indoors if possible
- Avoid rain, sprinklers, and condensation
- Do not touch the painted surfaces
- No washing, polishing, or chemicals
First 7 Days
- No car washes of any kind
- Avoid harsh chemicals or detail sprays
- Light dust may be wiped with a clean dry microfiber
- Park away from sprinklers and tree sap
Full Cure Time: 7 to 14 Days
Cure time depends on temperature and humidity. Cooler, wetter weather extends curing. Once fully cured, your coating delivers years of gloss, hydrophobic protection, and chemical resistance.
Ceramic Coating FAQ
Ceramic Coating Warranty
Each ceramic coating package carries a durability warranty matched to the tier installed, ranging from 2 to 7+ years. Warranty requires proper aftercare, no automatic brush washes, and routine maintenance washes using coating-safe products.

PPF Aftercare
PPF is installed wet and needs time for the adhesive to bond. What you see in the first two weeks is the film curing, not a defect. Follow these guidelines for a flawless final finish.
First 48 Hours
- Do not wash the vehicle
- Do not touch or pick at film edges
- Avoid driving in heavy rain when possible
- Keep vehicle out of direct extreme heat
First 7 to 14 Days
- Hand wash only with a pH-neutral shampoo
- No pressure washing near film edges
- No waxing or polishing the film
- Avoid automatic brush car washes
Normal During Curing
These are part of the curing process and disappear naturally within 2 to 4 weeks. Do not attempt to remove them.
PPF FAQ
PPF Warranty
Premium paint protection film carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling, bubbling, and delamination under normal use. Warranty does not cover impact damage, abrasion from improper washing, or damage from harsh chemicals.
Window Tint Aftercare
Newly installed window film looks hazy, streaky, and may have small water pockets. This is completely normal and disappears as the install adhesive cures and evaporates through the film.

First 3 to 5 Days
- Do not roll windows down
- Do not clean the inside of the windows
- Expect haze, streaks, and water pockets
- Avoid touching the tinted surface
First 2 to 4 Weeks
- Full cure as moisture evaporates
- Use only ammonia-free glass cleaner
- Clean with a soft microfiber towel only
- No abrasive cloths, scrapers, or stickers
Normal During Curing
All of these clear up naturally as the adhesive dries. Do not press, poke, or attempt to remove them.
Window Film Warranty
Our premium window films carry a manufacturer-backed lifetime warranty against bubbling, cracking, peeling, color change, and adhesive failure. Warranty is transferable to subsequent owners on most products and is honored nationwide through authorized dealers.

Ceramic Coating Warranty Terms
- The Refresh (1-Year): 1-year warranty
- The Sweet Spot (3-Year): 3-year warranty
- The Long Haul (6+ Year): 6-year warranty
What's covered
If your coating stops performing (water no longer beads, hydrophobics fade, or the coating wears prematurely under normal driving and washing), we inspect it and re-treat the affected panels at no charge.
What's not covered
Rock chips, scratches, scuffs, accidents, vandalism, and road-hazard damage. Coatings protect your paint; they don't make it bulletproof.
What voids the warranty
Automatic brush car washes, polishing or compounding over the coating, harsh alkaline chemicals, or neglecting washes for extended periods. Follow the aftercare sheet we give you at pickup.
Keep it valid
We recommend our $200 annual Ceramic Coating Health Check: it keeps your coating performing and documents its condition every year.
